ISOLINE | ONDULINE UNDER-TILE WATERPROOFING SYSTEM
Corrugated sheets for under-tile waterproofing.
Description
Products benefits
ISOLINE is a specially developed tile underlay waterproofing sheet with a corrugated structure. It can be used compatibly with many tile models produced in Türkiye, especially Marseille-type roof tiles.
ISOLINE sheets can be easily fixed to the roof by nailing through the crest of the corrugations. Any water that may seep under the roof tiles is freely drained through the valleys of ISOLINE’s corrugated structure. This helps provide effective waterproofing for the roof.
The roof tiles are installed by placing them into ISOLINE’s specially designed grooves. This application method helps prevent the tiles from slipping while also making it easier to achieve a straight and aligned installation. As a result, the application can be completed faster and more practically, without the need for the string-line method normally used to ensure alignment.
Thanks to its structure, ISOLINE can also be installed on spaced roof boarding. It is sufficient for the tile underlay boards to be installed at 34 cm intervals. This can provide savings of up to approximately 70% in total roof boarding material.
ISOLINE offers a reliable, practical and long-lasting solution for roof renovation and new roof applications. It allows existing old roof tiles to be reused while helping protect the roof with a waterproof layer during the application process.
Once the roof is covered with ISOLINE, it provides waterproofing even before the roof tiles are installed. This helps reduce the risks that may occur if the roof remains exposed during the application process. After the tiles are installed, the roof gains a double-layer protection system.
ISOLINE not only provides waterproofing, but also helps prevent many common roofing problems in the long term.
Helps reduce the risk of condensation
Thanks to the corrugated structure of ISOLINE sheets, an air gap is formed underneath them. If thermal insulation material is present in the roof, this gap helps create air circulation above the insulation. This contributes to the removal of vapour from inside the building before it condenses.
Supports roof ventilation
The gap formed between ISOLINE and the roof tiles allows air to circulate. This airflow helps the tiles dry faster and provides an additional advantage against mould and moisture problems that may occur due to long-term humidity.
In short, ISOLINE helps make your roof much longer-lasting by protecting it against water, moisture and time.
